Job Responsibilities:

• Provide SEO expertise in both onsite and offsite factors across all digital channels
• Responsible for analyzing, reviewing and implementing SEO strategies and tactics to the owned digital channels, to increase the visibility on all major organic search players (Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.)
• Keep a close eye on any new SEO regulations/algorithm updates from key search engines, timely implementation of recommendations and continuous optimization
• Design and perform regular reporting on SEO performance, provide recommendations and follow through for implementation
• Work with Web merchandisers, web editors, Marketing, CC&I and external vendors to develop quality content that will improve SEO results
• Develop SOPs and best practices for content development that is relevant to SEO
• Collaborate with Marketing team on SEM to find the best balance between organic and paid search, pro-actively provide feedback and monitor the effect between SEM and SEO hence achieve synergy
• Identify, evaluate and select SEO vendor when necessary, liaise and collaborate with vendor on a regular basis 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization
• Specific knowledge of major search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing)
• Experience using SEO specific and web analytics tools, Google Analytics a plus
• Experience in designing and generating SEO reports, making sense of data and provide insights to continuously enhance SEO performance
• Thorough understanding of SEO and the correlation between SEO and SEM
• Basic meta and body copy writing skills (EN & TC)
• Experience in briefing, working with and evaluating external agencies
• Knowledge of Technical SEO like site structure optimization (site speed, code-to-text ratio, alt text etc.)
• Knowledge of Onsite SEO like site content, keyword research and keyword mapping
• Knowledge of Link SEO like robots.txt, backlinks, link profile optimization
• Strong and effective communicator, a reliable team player
• Organized, self-motivated, with good time management skills
• Passion in home furnishing and IKEA culture & values
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
