Responsibilities

The appointee will play a key role in the coordination of system development and maintenance of the Qualifications Register (QR) in response to government and internal policy initiatives. Major duties include professional support to system development; liaison with government bureaux, internal and external stakeholders, system developers and service providers; project management; and project promotion.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a first degree comparable to HKQF Level 5, with at least 5 years of post-qualification relevant work experience; strong background in database management and structure, web and mobile application technology, development life cycle and maintenance practices, and vendor management; be analytical, proactive, reflective, independent, and a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exposure to quality assurance of education and training, and knowledge in the Qualifications Framework and the QR would be a definite advantage.

Conditions of Service and Application Procedures

Initial appointment will normally be made on a two-year contract basis subject to renewal. We offer competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, contract-end gratuity, plus fringe benefits including annual leave and medical and dental benefits.
