Responsibilities:

• Product Assessment, assess products for safety, legal age grading & warnings and related documentation to ensure product comply to European standards and internal company requirements;
• Document assessment, Assess and approve product safety documentation includes Declaration of Compliance, CE test report, certificates & technical file;
• To evaluate samples and recommend improvements to ensure products are ‘Fit for Purpose' and specify applicable standards, directives and requirements, including legal marking & warnings on retail packaging;
• Approval artwork and packaging related legal warnings;
• To provide technical advice and support to sourcing team to ensure products selected comply with European standards and internal company requirements;
• To liaise with the nominated test laboratories to ensure all relevant products are tested according to the requirement from customers;
• Product safety monitoring, to ensure quality procedures and product check lists are followed by the factories and in-house / 3rd party inspectors.

Requirement:

• Degree holder or above;
• Minimum 5 years QA experience in related products items in MNC buying office;
• Knowledge of European legislation, New Toys Directive, safety standards, quality systems and technical auditing will be advantage;
• Solid experience with inspection and testing of Toys and QA procedure writing;
• Accurate, structured and analytical;
• Strong communicating, coaching and negotiation skills;
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
• Independent, initiative, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines;
• High level of responsibility and strong work ethics;
• Open for occasionally travelling, mainly in Asia region;
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua, both in spoken and written.
