School Information System Administrator

The successful candidate works with the faculty and administrative staff on database queries, report card production, and other projects as assigned and will oversee data integrity checks to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and captured in a consistent manner.

 DUTIES

• Manage, maintain, and update our student information system (i.e. Veracross), including adding and updating faculty/staff, student, and parent records on an ongoing basis.
• Manage, maintain, and update timetable for students and faculty members
• Maintain and document procedures, workflows, processes, and complex functions.
• Work closely with the IT Manager and The Head of Teaching and Learning Technology on special projects
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders from different parts of the school community

 REQUIREMENTS

• A friendly, open demeanour and a genuine enthusiasm for support and training
• Professional, ethical standards for handling confidential information
• Good interpersonal skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Good computer skills and strong proficiency in excel
• Experienced in creating queries, generating reports and exports from databases will be an advantage
• Fluent English language skills
