The Job:

  • Lead and review regular local statutory reporting. Extract business insights from financials and effectively communicate to help management make informed decisions
  • Involve in the development of reporting infrastructure and framework under the emerging HK RBC regulatory regime
  • Participate in the annual business plan exercise to drive business value and provide key inputs to the capital planning cycle
  • Participate in the revamp of reporting and business planning process in light of new reporting requirements.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects and lead the continuous improvement in efficiency and quality of actuarial reporting
  • Provide coaching and training to subordinates

The Person:

  • At least 6 years of actuarial experience.
  • Familiarity with valuation bases and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Prophet modelling
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
