Overview

As a start-up jewelry company, our main focus is to develop our brands and online platform within the Asia Pacific market with an aim to expand internationally in the near future. We are seeking a versatile Brand Operations Manager who is passionate about working in jewelry industry to join our team. The Brand Operations Manager will play a key role in planning, establishing, and implementing branding and marketing strategies for the company. As our key target markets comprises of both APAC and overseas, knowledge of jewelry trends from various business regions is vital for this role.  In addition, he or she will be expected to manage basic daily operational duties.

Job Description

          

Brand Management:

 

  • Develop short and long-term business plans and marketing strategies for the company to gain brand exposure and drive sales
  • Execute strategy and plans to achieve annual brand building goals and profit objectives
  • Brainstorm, develop and manage brand image on social media and all other online platforms

Operational Tasks:

  • Identify jewelry trends and design seasonal products
  • Monitor day-to-day operations on all aspects of the company
  • Maintain good relationships with clients
  • Analyze sales reports and support sales associates to maximize effectiveness in their sales performance
  • Manage financial plans for company expenses including all expenses in salary, administration, marketing, and product development
  • Control and monitor the development of sales and profit versus the annual business plan
  • Monitor and analyse competitive information, market trends and customer needs in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Brand Management or related disciplines
  • Experience in brand management or jewelry industry is preferred
  • Is knowledgeable about jewelry and precious gemstones
  • Experienced in managing social media accounts and online platforms
  • Enthusiastic in working in the jewelry industry
  • A background in art and graphic design will be considered an asset
  • Able to work diligently under a self-motivated environment
  • Possesses good leadership and communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and multitask
  • Creative, open-minded, responsible, punctual, and reliable
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Must be well-versed in the trends and cultures of the APAC market and overseas
  • Flexible for working in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas
