Job Description:

• Coordinate with Mexico office, merchandising teams and factories to ensure product development, sampling and production meet quality expectations.
• Provide technical support, address potential risks and evaluate solutions.
• Remain up to date on industry regulations and brand requirements to ensure compliance of safety standards.
• Perform inspections.
  
• Manage QC issues.
• Build and manage small China QC team.
• Address audit and social compliance issues with factories.
• Coordinate with testing labs on product testing and negotiate testing charges. 
• Maintain filing and documentation systematically
• Generate product safety specifications for new product
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of plastic/ soft toys experiences in manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for toys
• Experience working with licensed and branded product
• Extensive knowledge of relevant production processes
• Strong professional relationships with testing labs
• Familiar with international Safety & Quality standards for hard and soft toys
• Detailed minded, well-organized, self-motivated, with high integrity and strong sense of ethics
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive, hardworking, sense of responsibility and able to work independently
• Sound knowledge of audit procedures
• Strong communication skills with good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin. 
• Proficiency in PC applications including MS Office
• China travel

Candidates with less experience will be considered but must have inspection experience, be computer proficient, along with drive to grow the role and take on more responsibilities.
