The Company

Our client is an international semi-conductor manufacturer with global presence. An opportunity now arises in its Dongguan office in PRC for a non-BOM Procurement Manager to join their energetic team covering HK, Taiwan and the offices in the PRC. As they are one of major producers, the volume they are handling is sizable. It will be challenging but it will also provide great satisfaction as well as exposure for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers and user department for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best delivery, mainly on general purchasing & indirect material related products.
• Payment term negotiation, Contract and vendor performance management
• Responsible for the Procurement operation, to update and maintain PO in purchasing system and enquire customer and product specification at USER need.
• Benchmark and formulate best-fit procurement vehicles to drive cost savings and efficiency improvement
• Measure and feedback supplier performance
• Execute activities that drive KPIs including but not limited to cost savings, hands free purchasing, supplier consolidation, P2P, etc.
• Sourcing market information, latest trends and benchmarking best practices in procurement area
• Enforce the procurement policy and ensure all purchases are fully complied with the requirement

Requirements:

• University degree, major in business or related
• Over 8-10 years related indirect material experience
• Experience in negotiations, pricing, general purchasing & Indirect Material related products
• Experience in managing external third parties
• Good spoken and written English, familiar with purchasing system and good presentation skill
• Be diligent, eager to learn, efficient, able to work in details
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understand CHINA manufacturing and quality assurance processes
