Responsibilities

• Work in a HOKLAS accredited microbiology laboratory to perform microbiological tests for Environmental, Food and other samples such as Chinese Medicine, Cosmetics, etc
• Conduct on-site sampling and testing such as swab tests and airborne bacteria
• Evaluate the disinfection efficiency of submitted products
• Perform QC tests, equipment calibration, stock maintenance of testing material according to HOKLAS requirements
• Maintain the quality system of microbiology laboratory
• Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• University graduate in Microbiology, Biomedical Science or other Science disciplines with relevant microbiology courses, or successfully completed a certificate course in 
  microbiology testing
• 1-2 years experience in microbiology testing with knowledge of aseptic techniques and HOKLAS requirements
  
• Knowledge of PCR techniques would be an advantage
• Due to the incubation requirements of some microbiology tests, staff may require to work on Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday to follow up the tests. 
• Fresh graduate without working experience will be considered as Trainee.
