Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all staff are aware of the Company’s Management System Policy and Management System is practiced, and manage day-to-day operational activities
• Train, coach and develop junior staffs.
• Prepare Laboratory Quality Manual, Laboratory Quality Procedure and other quality system documents when necessary.
• Prepare and review test methods and working instructions when necessary;
• Check and sign test reports including reports;
• Undertake other duties if assigned

Requirements:

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Biology (major in Microbiology) or above, or in related disciplines;
• Good command in English (necessary), Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese or Japanese (recommended);
• At least 2-year related working experience in microbiological testing field;
• Knowledge and experience of HOKLAS and ISO/IEC 17025;
• Practical experience in microbiological testing of both hygiene indicator organisms and food-borne pathogens is an advantage
• Good management to motivate whole team, and ability to solve problems flexibly and challenge new field with planning
• May need to work on Saturday or public holiday
• Candidate with less experience would be considered for Microbiologist
