Our client is a renowned Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with their headquarter in Europe.  They have multiple business lines/ brands with category in healthcare, nutrition and food & beverage.  Due to their robust business growth, they are now looking for an Assistant Procurement Manager to join their multi-cultural team in Hong Kong.

Key job duties

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage the overall procurement process for the indirect category such as marketing service.  You will lead the sourcing, biding process and ensure all daily procurement activities are aligned with the company purchasing policy and procedure.  You will negotiate with the suppliers of operation expense to ensure quality and competitiveness.  You will seek opportunities for cost optimization.  You will take lead in providing training and coaching to staff of different functions.  

Requirements

You should be a Bachelor degree holder in Supply Chain, Business Administration or any related disciplines.  You will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant corporate procurement/ purchasing working experience, ideally gained from sizable FMCG corporations/ branded companies/ companies with strong usage of marketing service.  You should be proficient in both English and Mandarin. You should be highly flexible and able to fulfil business needs. You should possess a good knowledge in MS Office, experience in SAP system will be an advantage.
