Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to supranational and regional professional ophthalmic societies, including: Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society (APVRS), Asia-Pacific Myopia Society (APMS), Academy of Asia-Pacific Professors of Ophthalmology (AAPPO) and Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology (APJO) etc.
  2. Participate and assist in administration, international communication and other ad-hoc projects, +/- publication.
  3. Work with the team to organize congresses, leadership development programs and other activities.
  4. Report to Dr. Dennis Lam (President, APVRS; Past President, Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO); Editor-in-Chief, APJO; Secretary General, Academy of AAPPO and APMS).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, with good command of written English.
  2. Hard-working, good teamateship, positive attitude and friendly temperament.
  3. Minimum 2 years of work experience. Fresh graduates / candidates with less experience will be considered as “Executive Trainees”.
  4. Good IT knowledge, experience in organizing congresses and editorial work are advantageous.
  5. Office Location: Central
  6. 5 working days per week.

Competitive remuneration. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
