Job Description

About this job

Responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions including recruitment, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

 

Job Duties:

Recruitment

  • Coordinate employee recruitment and selection process in order to to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire employees;
  • Establish and maintain contacts with recruitment sources, local and overseas hotel institutes.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Handle monthly payroll and MPF processing, final payment, organizational chart, medical administration;
  • Maintain and update personnel / leave records and monitor daily attendance.

Staff Relations

  • Provide basic employee counseling service;
  • Assist in planning, organizing and conducting employee wellness activities for all properties.

Training and Development

  • Maintain and update training record database for all properties;
  • Prepare post-training evaluation, training data analysis, report generation and enhancement;
  • Handle the educational sponsorship for employees according to the hotel policies;
  • Coordinate with Hotel/Tourism Institutes for trainee placement, and handle formalities for student trainees.

Administration

  • Prepare the Monthly Human Resources Reports for management information;
  • Participate in the preparation of yearly HR projects e.g. annual performance appraisal, manning and annual salary review, training needs analysis;
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate with honor in Human Resources or other related disciplines;
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with 4-5 stars hotels in Hong Kong;
  • Self-motivated, a team-player, mature and possess a can-do attitude;
  • Share L'hotel's core values (Liveliness, Heart2Heart, Oneness, Trust, Excellence and Learning);
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Competent in MS Windows Office Suite application;
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance
