Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Fully understand the technical and contractual requirements of all M&E installations;
  • Identify and resolve the coordination problems on site;
  • Seek advice from the M&E consultant and clarify on any uncertainties and problems in relation to all M&E design prior to the actual site installation whenever possible;
  • Assist the M&E consultant in perusal of the M&E contractors' submission on all related matters;
  • Coordinate with the M&E contractors to organize and arrange the programme for witnessing tests of M&E installations;
  • Carry out all M&E inspections;
  • Monitor the M&E contractors' works in compliance with the contract documents and report on non-compliance to project team for actions;
  • Report to the project team on all matters relating to safety, progress, and M&E contractor’s performance etc. in a timely manner to ensure the sufficient time for remedial actions;
  • Assist the M&E consultant in validating the M&E contractors' progress;
  • Maintain records of all site events which have a contractual implication;
  • Carry out the M&E inspections at night if necessary;
  • Attend the site meetings;
  • Prepare the site monitoring report;
  • Report to the project team’s concerning the programme and progress;
  • Keep the site office with the updated design drawings, document, contractor’s submission;
  • Other duties delegated by the Client / Consultant.

 

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Building Services Engineering or equivalent;
  • Residential project experience and reporting experience is a plus;
  • Minimum 5~8 years working experience in construction field or site supervision of building services installation and project administration of projects;
  • Maintenance experience or knowledge is a plus;
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English;
  • Holder of Safety Green Card is a must;
  • Working Location: Discovery Bay.
