Responsibilities:

• To assist in conducting research related to military history
• To assist in locating and accessioning suitable historical items under the Museum's scope of collection
• To assist in drafting editing and proofreading texts for exhibitions, museum programmes, publicity materials
• To assist in clearing copyright issues of the images, illustrations, oral history records and documentary
• To maintain a proper database for the exhibition planning process, including but not limited to the retrieval, photography and measurement-taking of exhibits and visual materials
• To assist in performing general office duties
• To perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree holder, majoring in History or related discipline, or equivalent or above
• Preferably with 1 year experience in conducting history re search in local museums, archives and / or universities
• Preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge and interest in military history
• Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese and English in HKDSE / HKCEE
• Ability to work independently under a tight schedule with positive working attitude, and be detail-minded and self-motivated
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English
• Good knowledge in computer applications
