Altitech HK Limited are seeking a dynamic and committed individual join the Technical Services division of the Altitech group, working alongside and under direction from Company Directors and will be involved in a variety of design & build / inspection / installation projects. This position offers a great opportunity for the individual to design BMU & innovative access systems to complex structures.

Job Description:

• Facade design, engineering and consulting for building projects in HK and overseas
• Compile technical specifications, structural calculation and engineering justification
• Carry out submission review on engineering calculation, material proposal, test procedures, method statement and drawings etc.
• Liaise with engineering teams
• Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety;

Knowledgeable in the following;

• Permanent access systems & Temporary access systems
• Monorail cradles
• Fixed Davits
• Ladders and Travelling Gantries
• Suspended Platforms
• Roof mounded motorized machines.
• Specially designed access systems
• Rope access systems.
• Hydraulic access platform.
• Suspended platforms fixed on temporary davits or counter weighted beams

Qualification Requirements:

• Min 3-4 yrs experience with facade consultancy or specialist contractor
• Experience in laser scanning / 3 modelling
• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in 2D/3D AutoCAD
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Facade Engineer / Graduate Engineer
