Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the production support and vendor management of our Institutional trading platform including algorithmi trading engine and Derivatives trading platform of Securities and Futures business.
• Gather and perform analysis on user requirements and liaise with vendors on the design and development of system enhancements
• Ensure software quality meets the required standards
• Support User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• Liaise with vendors on system deployments to ensure smooth production rollout
• Follow-up on production issues with vendors and suggest workaround and long-term solutions in a timely manner
• Liaise with vendors to determine the required hardware / software in conjunction with planned applications projects
• Prepare technical documents
• Provide phone or remote support in non-office hour in case required
• Support Market Rehearsal and major system deployment on Saturday in case required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s).
• Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in the Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry.
• Sound knowledge in Exchange connectivity, Global Futures, FIX Connectivity and Algo Trading Support.
• Knowledge of Institutional Trading System (e.g. Ullink, Fidessa) and Derivatives Trading System (e.g. Sharp Point) would be a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
