Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in trade execution for Hong Kong and China markets.
- Develop 1-year in trade plan according to business plans developed by regional team in order to deliver high growth targets by country and customer. This should include activities such as: regular promotional activities (for wholesalers, retailers and end customer), in store displays & POS to gain visibility, NPDs supports, distribution plans expansion, etc.
- Work out annual promotion activities plan by channel & customers including mechanism design, product selection, announcement, implementation, tracking and post-campaign report;
- Observe and study consumer insight & shopper insights in order to design and execute brand activations that resonates with end consumer.
- Support and work together with sales team to ensure success of promotional plan and propose corrective changed if needed.
- Regular key customer visits to design & monitor laser promotional plans.
- Communicate with ASIA regional team & China head of product in order to understand the latest developments in product technology, and strategy in order to design and update in trade executional plans.
- Responsible for marketing budget.
- Lead a team of 3.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
Working Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years marketing and product management experience ideally in building materials industry;
- Familiar with Hong Kong and China markets, especially the traditional retail environment (Hardware shops, timber shops, paint shops)
- Familiar with big organization system and Marketing operation;
- Have led in trade marketing plan development and managed brand activations;
- Strong project management skill and have experience of working with cross functions;
Competences:
- Good commercial sense and analytical skill;
- Good interpersonal communication skill;
- Fluent in oral and written English;
-Reasonable computer/software skills (word, PPT) and good excel skill is a must.
- Availability to travel to China often (at least 1 week per month)
