Responsibilities

• Communicate/coordinate with Operation Unit teams in respect of centralized bulk purchasing items
• Request quotations from suppliers/vendors & to compare, analyze & make recommendations
• Liaise with suppliers for price, delivery & quality
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost and trade terms
• Understand materials / technical specifications and liaise with suppliers
• Create/maintain partnership with suppliers & monitor their performance
• Source & establish network with new & capable suppliers based on project needs
• Provide pricing information to Tendering Team from time to time
• Prepare material documentations and reports
• Prepare custom declaration for all import and export items
• Support in any ad hoc project assigned

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline
• 1-2 years relevant experience preferably in project management in engineering industry
• Excellent in interpersonal communication skills, well-organized, self-motivated, good working attitude, customer service mindset, cost conscientious and able to work under pressure
• Good command in both written & spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
