Job Description

My client, a luxury lifestyle brand, is looking for an Assistant Retail Operations Manager for their growing team.

Scope of Work:

  • Help to oversee and drive the successful implementation of the retail strategy 
  • Oversee 10 POS acorss HK and Macau 
  • Assist the management in coordination of operations and retail teams in all functions, including sales productivity, stock efficiency, customer experience, customer service, CRM, training, store procedures, store planning with the help of all departments.
  • Follow-up all Key Performance Indicators and set up action plan accordingly (sales, quality visits, audit).
  • Assist the management in the search of retail business opportunities and project negotiation with relevant landlords and partners.
  • Key partner for the manufacture’s Retail department.
  • Manage frontline sales team to deliver CRM programs to build up long term client relationship.

 

Sales Performance Management

  • Help to define & implement the retail strategy.
  • Assist retail teams in follow-up on daily / monthly / yearly sales and propose action plan to reach sales targets.
  • Monitor the discount policy.
  • Keep track and follow-up on pre-sold items and special orders.
  • Assist in monitoring product allocation and respect of model stock in boutiques, coordinate allocation to external boutiques with Sales Manager.
  • Assist to carry out physical stock-takes quarterly.

In-store Operational Processes Improvement

  • Make sure that shop floor management is organized on a day to day basis: client issues, goals definition and action plans.
  • Ensure qualitative Customer Service: implement process and follow up.
  • Ensure retail processes are correctly implemented and respected (Retail Book, Group guidelines, opening/closing, repair orders, stock and cashier…)
  • Follow-up the implementation of IT solutions to improve business, operations and people management.
  • Ensure inventory checks are conducted following brand guidelines.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder with minimum 6 years of experience in retail operation.
  • Preferably in luxury or premium fashion, watch & jewelry industries.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, fast-paced and energetic.
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
