Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of industrial engineering tools, methodologies and standards for continuous improvement
• Lead the optimization of warehouse processes and material/transportation flows including warehouse layout, sizing, materials storage and handling systems
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve the workflow in the DCs and transportation
• Bring cost saving initiative via procurement process
• Identify and quality customer opportunities for Warehousing / 3PL / added values solutions
• Develop a framework to support Logistics Management in new business development and contract negotiations and in renewals of existing contracts
• Work closely with support teams to identify and achieve continuous improvement program for the customers
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High Diploma of above in Logistics Management, BA or related disciplines
• Minimum 10-15 years solid experiences in contract logistics
• Sound warehousing and distribution experience and skills with an ability to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies and services problem
• Familiarity with subcontractor agreements and work practices
• Able to deliver outstanding results in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Good negotiation skill with ability follow-through on all assigned tasks
• Good time management and planning skill
• Strong written / verbal communication (both in English/Chinese) and social skills with the ability to interact with all levels
