Job Requirements:

The Supply Chain Manager will report to the company Director. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company’s supply chain and logistics and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. They will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors. They will be responsible for supplier payments, managing inventory fulfillment, dealing with spreadsheets, price lists, and maintain/update inventory records. All daily duties and tasks must be completed on schedule. A daily meeting will be hosted with their team and a daily check-in with the company Director are required.

The mandate of this position is to oversee the supply chain and improve processes, through proactive communication with existing and new suppliers, negotiations on price and warranty, and build effective relationships with core supply chain. Basic understanding of accounting principles is imperative to the success of the position. Inventory accuracy, cost savings, and audit/control will be used to measure the candidates performance in the future. Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls; conducting audits, and providing information to external stakeholders.

The successful applicant will be determined by having a mind-set of an entrepreneur.  A proven track record of time management skills is required to manage the daily tasks that any small business will encounter.

Daily Tasks:

• Inventory Management and Fulfillment 
• Shipping, Receiving, and Packaging
• Negotiations with Suppliers 
• Supplier Payments
• Lifting of products and boxes
• Office Administration and Maintenance
• Weekly Sales Reporting
• Email Support and Communication With Intra-Company Offices 

Experience/Skills Required:

• Fluent in English and Chinese
• A minimum of 3 years of warehouse officer experience; preferably 2-3 years in one position.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of Controller experience 
• University degree in Supply Chain Manager or Logistics 
• Strong negotiation skills, organizational skills, and time management
• Experience in a assistant manager role an asset 
• Strong bodied, good health

Required Skills/ Competencies/ Attributes:

Excellent written and communication skills, achievement motivated, mathematical and analytical skills. Microsoft Office, Skype, and general computer skills are required.

The position is a full time position (40 hours per week – 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday – Friday)
