Responsibilities

l   Conduct equity research and evaluation primarily for Hong Kong market;

l   Develop, maintain and update quantitative financial models;

l   Track and gather news and information from target companies and sectors;

l   Prepare research reports and carry out client presentations;

l   Provide research support according to all relevant departments’ requests.

To be successful, you should:

l   have tertiary qualifications in a finance, economics, business, journalism, or related discipline attained from reputable universities;

l   have at least 2 years working experiences in an equity research capacity gained from Banking or Financial Institutes;

l   be a current SFC Type 1 & Type 4 license holder;

l   have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Mandarin), be presentable with the ability to communicate ideas succinctly;

l   be able to build good relationships at all levels with clients and corporates;

l   be highly numerate, with exceptional financial analysis and modelling skills;

l   be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications and familiar with Bloomberg functionalities;

l   be self-motivated, diligent, and work independently in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines;

l   be willing to travel to mainland China for company visits and client trips.

l   Holder of CPA/CFA qualification is an advantage;
