Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, develop, test and support web application services
- Work on conducting system analysis, requirements, development, testing and implementation of new business solution leveraging business-enabling technology
- Provide technical advice and assistance to selected projects in the resolution of technical issues, development tools, & frameworks
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of software solutions
- Able to create documentation for functional, technical specifications and proper coding comments etc
- Ensure all unit/integration tests working properly without errors before committing to source code repository
- Lead a local team and/or an offshore development team
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience in application software development
- Solid experience in working on large scale and high complexity software projects
- Familiar with the programming languages of .Net framework (C# / ASP.Net / VB.Net), Java / Javascript / HTML5 / CSS3 / XML and SQL Queries etc
- Familiar with Angular Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Framework & Tomcat.
- Sound understanding in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- General problem solving and solution design
- Experience in UX/UI, DevOps and Agile Methodology, AngularJS, bootstrap, node.js would be an advantage
- Experience with MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL & MS Access
- Experience in setup, install and maintain DB server and integrating with third-party software or APIs
- Experience in Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ, SourceTree & JIRA, GitLab or GitKarken would be an advantage
- Experience in UiPath or Abbyy Studio would be a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese (Cantonese)
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
