Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain eCommerce websites and web-applications
• Evaluate, build, debug and deploy Magento Implementations
• Integrate Magento with other internal or external systems
• Customize existing functionalities & features on the website
• Build new features, functionalities on the website following the best practices of Magento customization
• Evaluate the database queries & find out potential causes of load on the servers in order to optimize Magento performance
• Optimize & refactor the existing code in order to tune the Magento performance
• Participate in requirement analysis and technological evaluation / Magento extensions, and conduct the feasibility study
• Ad-hoc analysis, replication and fixing of bugs
• Deploy changes on the development environment and conduct unit testing
• Assist Analyst and QA during the testing phase
• Assist cross functional teams like sales, marketing, customer service, etc in setting up promotions, configurations & any ad-hoc support
• Integrate Magento released security patches in the custom environment and identify impact areas of these patches for testing

Requirements: 

•  Computer related non-Degree tertiary or above
• 2+ years experience of Magento development & Magneto Enterprise development
• 2+ years experience of MySQL/ PHP/ AJAX/ Apache/ HTML5/ JavaScript/ jQuery/ XML/ CSS3 development
• Experience in customizing Magento including extending existing functionalities and creation of complex extensions
• Firm understanding of core Magento's code structure and database schema - Split databases will be an advantage 
• Experience of hands-on performance tuning of Magento, handling high volume traffic will be an advantage
• Magento issued certificate(s) is preferred
• Hands on experience with Bash scripts & knowledge of Linux is must
• Experience with GIT & Jenkins is preferred
• Experience of Agile methodology & CICD is preferred
• Experience working with multi-vendor Marketplaces, Magento integrated Mobile Apps, Angular JS, React JS will be a bonus
• Nice to have experience with Classic ASP, Python, Solr, Message Queues
• Immediate available is highly preferred
