Job duties

• Responsible for creation and maintenance of custom and standardized reports, including but not limited to monthly financial statements, operating reports and various analyses, verification of data integrity and assistance with the development of future information needs of the Company within the reporting system (e.g. SAP and BI). 
• Perform detailed and commercial analysis on management reports, annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Assist in budgetary control
• Assist in business analytics improvement projects
• Assist in ad hoc financial analysis

 Accounting and reporting:

• Design and prepare custom & standardised management reports, including annual budget and periodic forecasts in a timely manner
• Participate in month-end closing activities
• Assist in improving database for better analytics

 Analytics and budgetary control:

• Proactively perform detailed and value-added analysis on financial data
• Analyse revenue & cost drivers and provide insights
• Contribute in developing operation plans and budgets

Requirements

• University graduate in Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies or related discipline
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience preferably gained from sizeable organization and Big 4, with at least 1-2 years commercial experience
• Qualified CPA with sound understanding of accounting principles
• Must have strong cost analytic background and have excellent analytical, mathematical, problem-solving and presentation abilities
• Strong knowledge of MS Office application, Excel with VBA a plus
• Knowledge in SAP and Data cube is highly desirable
• Good technical skills in financial modeling and financial analysis
• Aptitude to succeed in a stressful and deadline oriented environment
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Analyst.
