The candidate’s primary responsibilities are to provide financial and operational analysis & reporting to the Asia & International Leadership teams. The role is critical in supporting the senior management team’s decision making process as well as assisting the Region’s efforts to deliver against targets and provide financial visibility & predictability to the business. This individual will support the VP & International CFO in coordinating the overall International & Asia FP&A process & calendar in addition to providing reporting & consolidation to the senior leadership team. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-range Planning processes for the regions as well as providing ad-hoc business analysis & reports including the preparation of Power Points for senior management presentations.

Key Responsibilities 

• Co-ordinate inputs from regional Finance teams & supporting functions to support month-end closing, monthly Forecast, annual Budget process and Long-Rang-Plan
• Perform International business unit consolidation & reporting for senior management consumption
• Handle expense management, control, analysis and reporting
• Support analytical reviews and identify underlying trends and business dynamics
• Lead store reporting and analysis for the region
• Assist in Power Point presentation preparation (for Senior Management)
• Prepare templates and reports to be used in Month-end closing, Budget, Long-Range-Plan and Forecast processes
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis on regional business performance, drawing insights & explaining variances

Requirements

• Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting related discipline, preferably with an internationally recognized accounting qualification
• 5+ years solid financial analysis experience. Regional exposure is a definite advantage
• Solid experience preparing financial plans with budget/ forecasting and analytics preferably in the retail environment
• Result oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of projects
• Team player, Self-initiated, Flexible; works well under pressure of multiple / concurrent deadlines
• Ability to navigate and extract data from general ledger / data warehouse / BI tools
• Fluent in Cantonese & English, Mandarin a plus; able to communicate well with colleagues from across levels
• Knowledge in Microsoft AX (or equivalent), and Essbase is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel
