Responsibilities:

• Formulate and review credit policies and guidelines, and form the first opinion of credit judgments on policy or product related proposals as submitted by business units (Cases from SME to large corporations)
• Perform independent assessments on credit proposals, provide recommendations or make credit decisions according to the delegated authorities assigned
• Conduct yearly credit reviews for existing customers
• Ensure credit risk policies guidelines and procedures are in compliance with internal bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Carry out ad hoc reviews or projects as required

Requirements:

• University graduate, with professional qualification preferred
• Over 6 years’ practical banking experience in particular, credit assessment, credit initiation, credit approval, credit policy and credit monitoring
• Good knowledge of commercial lending principles, credit products, regulatory requirements and related market practice
• Independent with minimal guidance for the approval works
• Good time management as well as good business judgments and analytical skills

Candidates with less experience can be considered as “Credit Approver”
