Postdoctoral Researcher, Environmental Technology (Environmental Management Division) Ref: EMD124/JDB/030619

 

Job Duties:

  • Participate in the laboratory experiments and on-site pilot studies of food waste recycling research projects
  • Undertake field work, such as food waste and/or wastewater sampling and monitoring, sample analysis, on-site supervision of equipment installation, system testing and commissioning
  • Provide support in drawing preparation, technical report writing and other project documentation
  • Provide support in preparation of promotion and marketing materials
  • Need to travel to Mainland China and/or overseas to perform duties when necessary


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with a Doctoral Degree from disciplines such as Environmental/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science. Fresh graduates will also be considered
  • Experience in food waste recycling/wastewater research/engineering projects an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, and devoted with passion in technical work
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Applicants may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position


Note: This is a position funded by the Postdoctoral Hub Programme under the Technology Talent Scheme of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) R&D project from May 2019 to April 2021.
