Position Description

This position is responsible for supporting Professional Education, in which CAS members are providing on-site professional in-service on clinical procedures during training activities among the APAC region.

Proficient to provide optimal skills, deliver knowledge and technical expertise to operate Olympus products during clinical procedure to improve the procedures skills of trainee.

The CAS team aims to enhance regional Health Care Professional (HCP) training business (GI, Respiratory, GS, URO, GYN, ENT and others) and OPD support across APAC region.

Responsibilities:

• To support high-level On-Patient-Demonstrations among OCAP region, and develop Clinical Application/Procedure Training Material for the new products and state-of-the-art Surgical/ Endoscopic procedure;
• Supports internal and external procedure training by delivering clinical benefit of products;
• Assists HCP in demonstrating and disseminating improved procedures based on Olympus medical/ surgical systems by providing the clinical support;
• Take charge of configuration and requirement of equipment/ hand instrument/ training model for NGO training courses;
• Train and lead local CAS in each BC to improve their OPD skills and performance;
• Troubleshoots any equipment related functions/image quality problems;
• Able to identify clinical applications related issues and propose solutions to management;
• Keep up with latest clinical procedure knowledge and share procedure guide/know-how among other CAS members

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in medical/scientific related field or demonstrated education/experience equivalent; with surgical/ endoscopic background is useful and preferred;
• At least 5 years relevant experience in Nursing or medical device company;
• Ability to work in a multicultural, global environment and highly self-motivated; Strong work ethic with expectation of excellence from self;
• Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) with good communication & presentation skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications;
• Frequent travel required; high team work spirit, proactive, supportive and collaborative
