Responsibilities:

• Provide a resource for technical support to Design team to create accurate and relevant technical files for suppliers to support sample and product development activities.
• Manage internal sample approval process generated by order progressing to ensure all parties follow clients sample approval procedures and lead time as prescribed in norms
• Monitor all laboratory and home testing, to ensure that wash care instructions conform to norms. Ensure that all testing requirements are accurately performed in a timely manner.
• Review lab test reports and ensure all compulsory tests prescribed in norms are respected. Manage all test result decisions and make educated and informed decisions on contentious test results
• Carry out all duties and responsibilities in conjunction with procurement and final External client. To diligently interface and always cooperate with customers to ensure adherence to require norms and efficient and accurate transfer of information.
• Hold induction for new vendors on quality standard, sample approval process, home & lab testing requirements of customer.
• Implement updated or new quality norms and procedures distributed from customer and brief all relevant parties within the relevant office.
• Provide technical support including live model arrangements, on spot fitting and issue comments on all buying trip and workshop.
• Liase with customers to build trust and confidence in teams ability to execute to required level. 

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Textile / University graduate or related discipline;
• Minimum 10 years relevant working experience of which at least 5 years in managerial role in a Buying Office
• Excellent command of spoken & written English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• In-depth textile / testing / garment construction and fitting knowledge for US market
• IT skills including CAD system, GSD and 3D would be an advantage
• Good analytical skill and computer skill in Microsoft Excel
• Proactive, detailed, organised and dynamic
• A team player & adapt to work in multi-culture environment
