Job Description

To cope with business expansio, a sizeable retail group is looking for caliber to join the team.

 

Incumbent will lead a team of sales staff and responsible for maintaining an effective and efficient management control of a designated section, including daily sales floor operation, sales performance, planning and implementation of strategic in-store marketing, merchandise sourcing, costing and inventory control etc.

 

          Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, manage team of supervisors to achieve company’s goal and sales target; ensure expenses are under control.
  • Monitor manpower planning, staff performance and discipline, make recommendations for improvement. Provide continuous coaching & training to ensure required standards of product knowledge, selling skills and customer services are achieved.
  • Update market trends and ever-changing consumer needs. Propose overall planning and brand mix of respective product categories. Proactively explore potential brands and business opportunities.
  • Research and report competitors’ information, strategies, activities and performance; recommend appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Actively involve in marketing and promotion events; from planning to implementation.
  • Build rapport with potential vendors and maintain a good relationship with business partners.
  • Candidate with better experience will be considered for more senior position.

      

         Requirements

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Not less than 8 years of sales & operations experience in retail industry.
  • Proven managerial skills in merchandising, retail administration, inventory management, budgeting and cost control etc.
  • An efficient team player with strong business acumen, effective problem solving, organizing and leadership skills.
  • Result-oriented, proactive, aggressive and attentive to details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong ability to build rapport with customers and vendors.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
