Biotheus Inc. is an ambitious startup company focused on the discovery and development of
therapeutic biologics in the oncology disease space. Founded in May, 2018, the senior
management team of Biotheus has a wealth of experience in China and the US in antibody
therapeutics.

We are seeking a group leader to for an R&D lab in Hong Kong Science and Technology
Park (HKSTP) and head up a therapeutic antibody lab in innate immunity in cancer. This is a full-time work placement based in Hong Kong.

The lab at HKSTP will be steered by the Biotheus team and world-class Principal Investigators in innate immunity and oncology.

Target validation and antibody screening will be carried out by the team in Hong Kong with the aim
of delivering up to 2 lead candidates for clinical development in a 3 year period.

The background of the candidate will be as follows:
Expertise in immunology and tumor biology
- >5 years working experience with a PhD in relevant field
- Has passion for drug discovery and interdisciplinary learning
- Responsibilities include:

 1. In vitro/vivo screening of candidate therapeutic biologics.
2. Developing external collaborations for target identification/selection, validation, and working
with translational biologists to identify novel targets from tumor patient samples.
3. Hire, train and trouble-shooting for internal staff. Present results within and outside of
company. The group leader shall recruit and supervise 2 PhD, 2 MSc, and 1 BSc level scientists for the team.
