We are looking for an accountant who can perform hands-on day-to-day financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations, such as payroll, invoicing, payments, cash reimbursement and other financial transactions
• Establish and maintain account controls according to financial policies and procedures of the company
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
• Prepare full-set of accounts, month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare management reports and P&L analysis monthly
• Assist in quarterly budgeting and forecasting process
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles in the accounting and finance sector
• Prepare schedules and documents for external auditors

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or LCCI Higher Certificate
• At least 3 years of working experience in accounting
• Awareness and understanding of financial trends and service business
• Proficient accounting software user, experience on WorkDay will be a plus
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Candidate with immediate availability is a plus!
