Duties:The appointee will be responsible for developing a web-based School Feedback System for schools with three modules: a Post-Exam Data Analysis Engine, a Customized Report Generator, and an Instant Multiple Choice Question Feedback module. He/she will also be required to provide administrative and IT support to the testing and implementation of the system with the objective of promoting assessment for learning at schools.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, a higher degree will be an advantage;
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience or 5 years of supervisory experience in system development;
• Ample experience in system development, quality assurance, data security and operation support;
• Experience in managing IT projects is a plus;
• Hands-on experience in developing web-based platform using Java, J2EE, JSP, JSF, XML, Hibernate, Spring Framework; SQL, Oracle database, MySQL, JasperReports, AJAX, JQuery, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Web Graphics and Design system UAT and data processing;
• Experience in report writing and documentation in IT projects;
• Professional knowledge in different standards (e.g. ISO9000, ISO20000, ISO27001 and PMP/PRINCE2) is preferred;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Candidate with less working experience may be considered as Officer – Assessment Technology and Research.

Employment Terms:  The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care.  Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
