Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Accountancy or above;
2. Associate or fellow member of HKICPA or other recognized accounting professional bodies;
3. At least 5 years relevant accounting experience (candidate who only has audit experience at Big 4 at managerial grade will also be considered);
4. Strong knowledge of latest accounting standards and the application impact
5. Sound knowledge of Hong Kong listed company internal control, corporate governance and compliance matters
6. Sound knowledge of Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and listing rules and regulations, especially in mergers and acquisitions transactions;
7. Familiar with Hong Kong taxation rules and tax planning matters
8. Mature, independent, self-motivated, responsible and work well under pressure;
9. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua; and
10. Proficiency in MS Office;

Main duties:

1. Supervise the Group’s financial reporting teams in Hong Kong and Japan;
2. Responsible for the Group’s management reports and financial reporting;
3. Enhance and monitor the corporate internal control, compliance and corporate governance matters;
4. Identify and resolve accounting and taxation issues;
5. Prepare financial budget and forecast;
6. Prepare circulars and announcements regarding interim and annual financial reporting and other corporate transactions; and
7. Perform ad hoc assignments assigned by the Board.
