Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a Hong Kong based multinational company with over 50,000 workforces globally. This role serves as an enabler of technology to create the awareness, enhance the communications, deepen the understanding and increase the satisfaction of HR related IT functions and services across the Group through digital means.This position is the link between HR, IT and external vendors to provide functional and expertise to end users regarding the HRIS/HCM systems and exploit the capability of the systems to their fullest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project objectives, perform feasibility study, confirm the scope, tasks and deliverables, prepare budget and prioritize deliverables to ensure maximum productivity while meeting the objectives
  • Lead the development of detailed process roadmaps and related business requirements/functional specifications
  • Manage the projects including:

o   Solutions sourcing and evaluation, implementation and on-going support of the Human Resources Information System and Human Capital Management System;

o   Vendors/service providers sourcing, evaluation and management to deliver quality project deliverables and professional services;

o   Project proposals preparation and presentation to project stakeholders;

o   Business process harmonization and data standardization to drive operation efficiency and meet compliance requirements through applying HR best practices and group standards;

o   Solution architecture design to improve and strengthen end user experience; and

o   Workforce analytics to improve workforce planning and management.

  • Establish effective engagements with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and team members to deliver HR system solutions
  • Utilize effective change management techniques to ensure user adoption and satisfaction with HR systems and processes
  • Partner with IT to deliver quality HR system solutions that are scalable and conform to entire group’s technology landscape
  • Drive continuous improvements by reviewing and adoption of latest HR best practice, HR technologies and solutions
  • Lead and develop team members to achieve project task deliverables and professional growth
  • Travel to other locations (Asia and/or China) for the project rollout

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Attributes & Competence

o   Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

o   Ability to communicate effectively and use organization skills effectively to perform multiple tasks

o   Ability to influence and manage change, and deal effectively with change management initiatives

o   Strong planning and project management skills

o   Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

  • Experience
    • Around 10 years’ experience of HRIS
    • Regional experience in driving global/corporate projects, and working with local operations/functions is a MUST
    • Functional knowledge of HR business process
    • Knowledge in multi-locations HR practice and related legislations (including but not limited to PRC, Hong Kong) would be an advantage
    • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related disciplines
