The employer is a fund manager based in Hong Kong. To cope with the client's continuous growth, they are looking for high caliber professionals to join as Head of Operations and Compliance.

 

Job Description

• Handle middle to back office operations: day-to-day trade processing and settlement;
• performing cash and valuation reconciliation as well as monitoring corporate action;
• Liaise with various parties including fund managers, prime brokers, executing brokers, auditors, custodians, fund administrators and other service providers;
• Establish and maintain compliance policies and procedures to monitor the daily operations and business activities are complied with requirements of SFC and other regulators; (RA 4 & 9)
• Liaise with SFC and other related authorities;
• Register with SFC as MIC for AML & Compliance core functions;
• Provide internal regular regulations and compliance updates and compliance training;
• Handle complaint, investigate special cases and assist in ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder in Law, Finance & Accounting or related disciplines;
• Experience in portfolio management system;
• Experience in NAV calculation and trade processing cycle;
• 2 to 5 years in securities, brokerage and compliance experience dealing with Type 4 & 9 regulated activities in major investment banks or SFC licensed corporations;
• Sound knowledge of SFO, SFC codes, CIMA and other related regulations
• Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks;
• Good command in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
