Job Description

We are seeking digital asset management consultants at various levels with specific proven experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Investment Planning – development of policy, strategy, asset performance measures and development of short, medium- and long-term investment programmes covering both Capex and Opex requirements.
  • Maintenance Management – policy and strategy development, work management process and procedure, KPIs, establishing maintenance plans and schedules, work management systems such as CMMS, EAMS – Maximo, Infor etc, Experience of advanced maintenance practices such as reliability centred maintenance would be advantageous
  • Lifecycle Costing – development of lifecycle cost models, investment prioritisation tools and methodologies.

 

Job Purpose

Develop and lead regionalised digital asset management strategy, delivery and implementation of digital asset management projects. Accountable for building and leading a team across all disciplines (technical subject matter experts, life cycle modelling, systems integrators, and technology). Owning the commercial relationships with clients, delivery partners with the project delivery.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic accountability for the successful delivery outcomes across the project lifecycle from initiation through to their transition into production and ongoing application support
  • Define opportunities to go to the market with Digital Asset Management business value propositions
  • Define, establish and sustain effective supplier relationships enabling delivery of strategic delivery engagements and drive continuous improvement in alignment with our Digital Asset Management Strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal technology delivery partners
  • Accountable for the shaping and agreement of commercial contracts with delivery partners that will drive delivery security and accountability to the partners
  • Develop, formulate and lead on the successful delivery of all strategic asset management opportunities
  • Direct and lead the initiation of project work through working with Clients stakeholders that will be both the customers and service providers of the capabilities that the project will deliver.
  • Direct and lead teams on a day to day basis, ensuring best in class practices in project management and overall programme delivery are realised.

 

 Requirements 

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant digital asset management experience
  • Experience of leading teams
  • Educated to degree level (Computing Science or equivalent preferred)
  • IAM qualification would be advantageous 
  • Experience of leading major digital asset management projects including the formulation and application of a vision, strategy, blueprint and business change plan.
  • Deep understanding of digital asset management, information systems industry and emerging technologies asset management technology
  • Understands, explains and able to present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner. 
  • Has a broad and deep knowledge of organisations that use and exploit enterprise asset management systems Maximo, Ellipse, Infor. 
  • Extensive experience of leading and motivating large delivery teams and successful delivery of major digital asset management programmes
  • Demonstrable experience of building successful partnerships with suppliers 
    Strong relationship management skills with the ability to articulate a vision with energy and passion.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to work with business leaders and peers to develop go to water business value propositions
  • Results orientated and removes blockages to restore progress & achieve benefits
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure and /or against opposition
