(ii) Engineering Science for Building Services
 
Major Duties:
To develop materials for teaching & learning, as well as assessments for the modules of the Diploma in Engineering (Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration).
 
Requirements:
(a) A relevant recognized degree in mechanical engineering or building services engineering or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industrial / commercial experience;
(c) Preferably with experience in teaching and learning material development; and
(d) Knowledge and understanding of training equipment and facilities used in a building services engineering laboratory / workshop environment.
 
Notes:
(1) The post is in the rank of Lecturer.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment in English.
(3) Successful applicant(s) is/are required to complete and produce the teaching & learning package (including but not limited to PPTs, student notes, teaching plan, assignments, assessments, laboratory / work sheets, and other relevant materials) and laboratory / workshop kits for one of the designated modules in the Diploma in Engineering (Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration) within an agreed number of working hours.
