We are currently recruiting for a Draughtsman. This position is based in our Hong Kong office and will report to the Vice President of Order Fulfilment, Region Asia Pacific.

What You’ll Do At Elekta

As the Draughtsman, you will create technical drawings for Elekta machines on site floor plan based on given specifications. You will work closely with the internal stakeholders including but not limited to Solution Experts, Project Managers and Sales Account Managers etc. to understand the specifications and requirements. Then you will incorporate these specifications into drawings and plans that will be used in the Turnkey Project. The work includes the following:

• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by Solution Experts and/or other internal stakeholders.
• Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications.
• Assist and coordinate with Solution Experts.
• Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by the internal stakeholders including but not limited to Solution Experts, Project Managers and Sales Account Managers etc.
• Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
• Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings.

What We Are Looking For

To be a suitable candidate for this position, we think you have:

• IVE/Diploma or higher in Interior Design or related discipline
• 1 to 2 years relevant experience
• Good drafting technique and knowledge in CAD
• Good spoken English
• Ability to work in a team and good working attitude
