We're looking to work with Mandarin instructors that have a passion to teach Chinese, build engaging curricula and to help with basic administrative tasks. Students will predominantly have an English background so a grasp of the English language is important.

The role also works closely with our head instructor whom you will also assist in developing our in-house curriculum while recognizing how to match and organize the way instructors connect with students. You will need to possess the willingness to learn and be organized.

Since MeeOpp is an EdTech startup, this also means that the role is flexible and requires you to be adaptable and be a quick learner. You may be tasked with work that is outside your scope but our Co-Founders will provide guidance and full support on any task at hand.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching 1-1 students Mandarin via our in-house online video system
• Creating engaging content and materials for students
• Work closely with co-founders to help create and give feedback to teaching materials for Mandarin
• Work closely with founders to help train our Mandarin instructors on "how to teach" 
• Basic administrative tasks such as scheduling of lessons

Requirements:

• Native Mandarin speaker is a plus
• Conversational in English
• 1-2 years experience and above of teaching Mandarin
• Strong communication skills and creative 
• Love for technology and teaching is a plus!
