QooApp is a professional platform specializing in anime games and otaku cultures. Our goals are to create a virtual haven for all ACG lovers to discover new games and series and share the things that they love with kindred spirits around the world.

QooApp is not only a game store but also a media platform, a game publisher, an offline event organizer, and most of all, an active online community that evolves according to gamer’s needs, creating new dimension breaking gaming experience for gamers across the world.

Today, QooApp provides multilingual services including Chinese, English, Korean, and Japanese etc. for over 30 million users across 200 different countries and growing. QooApp’s headquarter is situated in Hong Kong. Branch offices have been established in different regions including Taipei, Shenzhen, Tokyo, and Seoul. In March 2018, QooApp raised Series A funding led by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who are passionate in ACG (Animates, Comics & Games) field, playful and detail-orientated, willing to grow himself/herself in a fast-growing start-up and containing these talent :

• Equipped with high-calibre abilities of team cultivation & management, project management;
• Experiences in Internet System development & implementation, with team management experiences is a big plus;
• Familiar with Linux operating system;
• Mastering common algorithms and information structures, familiar with internet programme design and multithreading programme;
• Familiar with large-scale of load balancing, caches, internet storage and database design and performance assessment;
  
• Knowledge in Internet protocols applications (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP etc.);
• Wide-horizons, good at observing users demand and product flow;
• Willing to cultivate and elevate the team and teammates to success, mindset of team-sprit and result-orientated is a must;
• Linguistic skills in Mandarin is considered prioritise for Tech Lead candidates.  

What you do in your job?

• Formulate & design all system structure of company products (included technical and business structures);
• Able to complete products system design, development and maintenance fully independently; Analyse and enhance system performances;
• Responsible for new tech research and development;
• Undertake tech team management and building, boost-up teammate performances;
• Direct & cultivate developer / engineer, elevate teammates' analytical and development skills;
• Coordinate & manage all projects & teammates, control completion process, services level and product quality;
• Formulate tasks schedule, resources planning, tasks assignation, supervise project progress, information response etc;
• Organise, directing and monitor all projects' progress and qualities, able to tackle issues during the process;
• Able to lead the team on reward basis, completing all projects assigned by the Company, implementing company's technical skill management & business direction;
• Responsible to coordinate with other divisions and teams, support and making suggestion to business team and management.
