Job Description

Objectives of the Position

Reporting to Assistant Manager, Systems & Insurance Broker Account (IBA), you will:

  • Assist in managing the Company's operation system; to ensure it is tested and updated regularly; and is functioning as required by the business
  • To provide support in various reporting and Broker Support management and other areas for smooth operation of the team
  • To assist in the handling and administration of the Company's own binding authorities and all the third-party binding authorities handled by the Company

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist to maintain a process to manage day-to-day matters arise from the system including the logging, reporting and follow-up of issues arisen
  • Provide support to the UAT and new system roll-out
  • Assist in conducting operational efficiency training materials and training sessions
  • Generate IBA reports on a regular basis so to conduct performance tracking against specific KPIs
  • Provide regular feedback to broker support teams to enhance operation excellence
  • Assist in handling of Lineslip or Facility from underwriters including documentation
  • Assist to review all files where a premium, claims or brokerage debt is outstanding on system
  • Any other assignments and ad hoc duties as required by the Line Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working experiences in back office operations, preferably in insurance related industry
  • Holder of a recognized college diploma or above
  • Good command of written and spoken English; fair Putonghua
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong communications skill, analytical with critical and systematic thinking
  • Holder of insurance related professional qualification such as IIQE, CII, ANZIIF are advantageous
