To increase brand awareness and to strengthen its publicity in the market, our client is seeking for a high calibre public relations professional to lead the regional PR function. 

Reporting to a team head, you will be developing and implementing strategic local and regional PR communications initiatives to maximize brand exposure, drive positive coverage and publicize its online lifestyle and entertainment programmes through traditional and social media (regional and local) to target consumers as well as trade partners. You will be providing strategic counselling to senior executives on corporate profiling, corporate branding and positioning as well as thought-leadership initiatives; pitching media interviews (mainly lifestyle and entertainment), identifying speaking and sponsorship opportunities and etc. Your other responsibilities are but not limited to: involve in some financial media relations as being a listed company; management of local and regional PR agencies; ensure all messaging are aligned with the positioning of the brand; closely monitor public opinion to track insights and potential issues and etc. 

The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of experience in regional PR, corporate communications and media relations. Candidates from social/digital media, entertainment, consumer tech and OTT sectors are highly regarded. You are creative, versatile, passionate, driven and confident yet a team player with positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills are required. Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese is mandatory.  

Note: Candidates with more experience can be considered for a more senior level position.
