One of the virtual bank license recipients, aiming to launch its services in Hong Kong in 6-8 months’ time, is seeking for a high calibre corporate communications professional to head up the function. 

Reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for setting up the infrastructure of the function and building a dynamic team, covering both internal and external communications. Working closely with senior management and cross-teams, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plan for pre-and-post launch of the brand and its platform through tradition and digital/social media and publicity initiatives. You will champion in shaping and articulating the essence of the brand, profiling senior executives, educating the new concept of virtual bank to target audience through publicity and thought-leadership programmes and etc. With the nature of its joint venture business model, you will drive effective and compelling internal communications to ensure business objective/direction are all aligned and keeping staff momentum to making this exciting launch happen in the most impactful and successful form. Other responsibilities are but not limited to setting up corporate website, social/digital channels, corporate video, corporate identity guideline and etc. 

The ideal candidate should be a Bachelor Degree holder in Journalism, Communications or a related discipline, with at least 12 years of experience in corporate communications and strong social/digital media experience is mandatory. Candidates from banking, financial services and fin-tech industries are highly regarded. You are a self-starter and a strong leader, who is highly adaptable, open-minded, responsive, creative, agile, influential and able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment. You have the entrepreneurial spirit working in a start-up environment. You are expected to have proven successful track record in project management. You are passionate, dynamic and with a can-do attitude. Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills are required. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is mandatory.
