Job Description
CHB Global Tender Analyst will work across Maersk commercial groups in support of CHB product growth. Responsibilities include managing CHB tenders, coordinating growth of the pipeline and supporting and enabling Sales staff to win new deals resulting in growth of CHB revenue. They will work with all Areas as support for account owners related to midsize opportunities. Lead efforts related to building CHB content database and marketing intelligence to ensure higher probability of closing new opportunities.
Overall Responsibilities
▪Works with Maersk (incl. all brands) sales leadership to provide CHB tender management support ▪In alignment with Global CHB Tender Manager and commercial leadership, assists in deployment of CHB sales strategy for each business unit
Engages to achieve high quality, competitive response to RFI/RFQ’s and builds CHB content and pricing database to aid faster and more agile responses to small and mid sized tenders
▪Enables Area marketing and commercial staff to respond to smaller Area focused tenders by providing CHB content ▪Considers company wide synergies between products to achieve best solution for the customer while maximizing our margins
Understands the relationship between "how-to-win" elements of the CHB strategy, and the Maersk customer segment value propositions
Places value on key product differentiators in relation to the Maersk customer segments
Incorporates customer needs & insights into tender responses
Specific deliverable
▪Coordinates tender responses with higher degree of probability (15% and higher) of securing new deals and CM1 generated ▪CHB content database delivery
Ensures successful and timely response to RFI/RFQ’s and drives tender performance measurements and metrics
▪Actively collaborates with other tender management teams in Areas to drive consistency in responding and providing unique, market driven solutions
Designs winning product solutions through a combination of clear "where-to-play" and "how-to-win" choices
Qualification/Skill-set
Minimum 1 year of experience in tender management and / or customs brokerage, CHB license or certificate equivalent preferred
Bachelor’s degree or industry experience equivalent preferred
Excellent relationship building skills, strong creative problem solving and analytical skills
Must work well under pressure as a self-starter, handling multiple tasks -- ability to work across many tenders, projects, and/or issues and prioritize
Strong communication skills, ability to build customer value proposition
Understands global supply chain and how CHB enables growth
