The Director/ Senior Manager will provide leadership for establishing the Technology Advisory practice. He/She will be responsible the solution approach, rationalization of the solutions, presentation / communication of the solutions and as a guide to the delivery teams for realization of the solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for delivering a portfolio of solutions (e.g. applications, technologies, processes and information) in response to disruptive forces our clients face.
• Provide leadership to the Technology Advisory team in assisting the clients to achieve maximum value from their technology and their IT operations and enabling the optimal use of technology and IT capital for public and private sector organisations.
• Provide technology leadership and oversight across a range of customer-related areas such as user experience, content management, Legacy system evolution, Operational systems redesign, customer transactions and external financial account aggregation.
• Provide end-to-end technical leadership, with Enterprise technology standards and guidelines, to the design, development, and testing of business solutions.
• Present potential technical solutions and advise the business on the technical and business value of the proposition with appropriate tradeoffs.
• Provides “big picture” oversight for development of new or enhanced technology solutions e.g. Digital transformation, Technology operations and strategy and Project and programme management.
• Proactive, regular communications with business, technology partners and management to keep informed of status, changes, or issues.
• Maintains an awareness and understanding of competing products/services and provides ideas for innovation and improvement in order to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• Mentor other team members.

Requirements:

• Degree holders in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field.
• 10 + years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level in providing technology and operational services and strategic advice.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at an executive level.
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experienced consultant with solution building, delivery and sales exposure.
• Good command of verbal and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
