Our client is a global management consultancy company known to be a business partner to support their clients to drive overall business performance improvements, employee engagement, research and executing on development projects.

Base in Hong Kong, reporting to the CFO/COO, you will be partnering with other key senior stake holders to drive effective HR solutions for the company as well as providing guidance and support to other HR teams in local countries globally.  Strategically review the Human Resource requirements of the business in line with key objectives, promote the usage of the HRIS, formulate tactical operations plan for delivery, enhance employee engagement, team performance, morale, productivity, culture and diversity thereby ensuring the attraction, development and retention of world class talents.You will be expected to drive harmonize policies and procedures globally and locally to ensure a smooth transition in meeting the changing needs of the business and ensure compliance with local legal requirements. 

 
As a HR leader, you will also evaluate the planning for ongoing personnel requirements such as managing and budgeting the full recruitment process, talent mapping, identifying high potential talents, implement consistent performance management process for all staff, including conducting performance appraisals and professional development sessions for the purposes of career development, succession planning, salary reviews and managing poor performance issues.  Lead all compensation and benefit matters, in particular the annual salary review, bonus allocation and promotion recommendation as well as for compensation packages.  Knowledgeable with market trends and able to advice and apply best practices on staff contract management as per applicable local laws, working with local agencies to obtain relevant updates with regards to HR processes and policies (such as social insurance, housing fund etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 10 years of experience in managing the full range of human resource functions, preferably with global exposure;
• High energy level with business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, approaching tasks with sense of urgency;
• Adaptable working in a dynamic environment with ability to deal with ambiguity and adapts easily to changes;
• Strong communicator with ability to deliver effectively, concisely with authority and command to demanding audiences;
• Excellent command of English and Chinese with proven experience in a MNC environment to transform business through growth and change, preferably in service/consulting industry;
• Highly organized and able to prioritize workload effectively with ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skill;
• Knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
