• Performs centralized control and risk mitigation role during deal execution;
• Carry out regular checks and monitor overall trading / selling activities to ensure compliance with external regulators and internal control requirements;
• Generate return and risk reports of different financial market products
• Prepare management report, oversee business performance as well as suggesting appropriate business development plan;
• Formulate business strategies with trade counterparties including negotiation on agreement terms, facilitate necessary approval process and manage documentation;
• Work closely with Planning and Finance Department on accounting related issues such as reconciliation, FTP, IAS39/IFRS9 arrangement etc;
• Work closely with Risk Department on risk and limit monitoring;
• Work closely with IT Department on system development issues;
• Participate in trading system enhancement and product development project;
• Co-ordinate with other departments to develop new business opportunities;
• Assisting in ad-hoc queries and new business requirements as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in financial markets/ middle office / market risk / trading;
• Strong knowledge in treasury finance and accounting including P/L calculation, mark-to-market, FTP, liquidity, reconciling treasury management account with financial account;
• Sound knowledge in financial products in financial market;
• Practical knowledge and skills in treasury accounting and finance;
• Working knowledge on HKMA guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements;
• Self-starter, motivated, team player and passionate about the business;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Acute business and common sense;
• Good leadership, interpersonal and people management skills;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
